Officers and Directors

Organizational Structure

 

BERA is a membership association  governed by a Board of Directors.  The Board consists of up to twelve Directors who are nominated by BERA members in good standing.  All Directors are elected to the Board biennially by vote and then serve on the Board for the next two calendar years.  The sitting Board members also elect BERA’s four Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) from among the directors. 

BERA does not solicit or accept federal funding.  It depends solely on member support and donations, both of which are tax-free, to sustain its work.  None of BERA's officers or directors receives remuneration for labors on behalf of BERA and the biomass community
