Biomass Energy Research Association

Every year BERA prepares and distributes testimony on Federal appropriations for biomass energy research, development and demonstration (RD&D). 

This testimony focuses on two Federal agencies,the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Department of Agriculture. Testimony is submitted to both the House and Senate Committees on Appropriations, Subcommittees on Energy and Water Development and Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies.  The same testimony is submitted to the House and Senate.

The Board of Directors meets annually to discuss emerging developments in bioenergy, discuss the focus and value of Federal budget requests for bioenergy RD&D, and formulate recommendations for Congressional testimony.
